BERKAY ŞEKERCİ

PART-TIME INSTRUCTOR

Berkay Şekerci graduated from Bilkent University Theatre Department in 2017. After graduation, he joined Ankara State Theatre and performed in various plays for a year. He then became an assistant to Işıl Kasapoğlu in Istanbul, working on projects directed by Kasapoğlu, and became a member of Semaver Kumpanya for two years. During the same period, he gained experience as an assistant director and editor with Sabahattin Yakut. Before joining our department as part-time faculty to teach acting and introduction to theatre courses, Şekerci also lived in England for a year, and experienced working as a Front of House (FOH) at Ambassador Theater Group. Şekerci also currently serves as the Program Coordinator for Bilkent Theatre for Kids Program since 2023.
