Bilkent University Department of Theatre is now accepting applications for its 8th Annual International University Theatre Days. The festival will be hosted in Bilkent University in Ankara, Turkey between June 23- 28, 2019 and will gather theatre departments from Turkey and around the world. The online application form can be filled until April 30th, 2019, and the participating schools will be announced by May 5, 2019.
Started in 2012 as a student-found festival to share latest school plays on Bilkent Theater stages, the festival continues to gather all university theatre departments and conservatories in Turkey every year for one week on Bilkent Campus. The festival expanded its mission in 2015 to host theater departments from universities around the world. Some previous international guests include universities from China, Colombia, Iran, Israel and Macedonia. This year’s international guests will include universities from China, Korea and the USA.
